Spendrups, Stockholm
Customer Service Representative at Sweden’s largest Swedish owned brewery in Sweden. The position mainly entails handling customer orders and providing solutions to the customer’s inquiries and problems (ex. tracking orders).
Duties also includes occasional light administrative work (data entry, faxing, filing) and working with the Spendrups Sales office to help identify different vendors that they can target for various promotions and sales which thus establishes a good rapport with small businesses.
The Swedish Tibetan Society for School and Culture, Stockholm
Staff Assistant for the non-profit organization based in Stureby. As a foundation that aims to build, renovate and support schools in Tibet it is vital for the organization’s existence to seek people who are interested in becoming members and supporters.
In this position I had an extremely diverse set of duties including but not limited to: creating cultural exhibits, representing the organization at various shows and leading tours in Tibet. Due to the fact that supporters are located internationally, I also translated and edited printed material (newsletters, books, website) from Swedish to English.
House of Tibet Kitchen (HOTK), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA
Waiter at HOTK, the first Tibetan restaurant in Boston Massachusetts.I primarily worked as a waiter handling customers, however I also assisted in the kitchen and helped with the accounting.
Svensk Äldrevård AB, Stockholm
Nursing assistant at the elderly care facility. In this institution I mainly provided residents with assistance in their daily living: cleaning, bathing, feeding and communicating. Also duties included the distribution of medicin.
